This Page Still Under Construction
The equipping and outfitting of Dreamer has been ongoing since we first acquired her in 1984. Electronics then consisted of a Wesmar package including autopilot, depth sounders and sonar; Decca radar, and Standard VHF radio. Main engines were and still are the American Marine version of the John Deere 6404D marinized and there was a 7.5 KW Onan genset. The anchor was a 100# Forfjord with 5/16" chain and the windlass was an Ideal horizontal. The stereo was an automotive unit built-in the galley cabinet. There was no heat and no air conditioning. All the original electronics are gone as is the Onan genset.
The following is the current equipment Dreamer has been outfitted with and the current outfitting taking place in the preparation of Dreamer for our Grand Adventure to commence mid-2004.
